Today's Sunday, and here I am in my room, typing away at my computer. Sunday's suppose to be a day to relax, but somehow I feel that I'm obliged to finish the codes and bugs. Well, part of it is my fault, I did not include two API calls in my demo program, and now with the existing bugs, the workload is like....thisssssssssssssssssssss big...
Luckily I could do the debugging at home, otherwise I would have to sacrifice my beautiful car space and drive back to the office. Yep, parking at the visitor's carpark is worst than queueing up for your road tax. At least you're guaranteed to get the road tax, but to park at the visitor space, you will have to be there at the right time, coz 99% of the time, the spaces are all occupied. Doesn't seem to be a good analogy, but what the heck...:P
Just finished watching Sex and The City, good show, similar to Ally McBeal style, where nobody laughs in the background, so the only person laughing will be you. It's about 4 girls and their encounters with different types of guys. I've bought the whole of season 3 (that's what the VCD cover says), and will be passing them to Prose as soon as I'm done with them. Based on the record, most probaly I'll be able to finish it within a week...
And now, back to checking of company emails...

Came as early as 7.00am, only to know that the meeting is cancelled. That's what makes it harder to communicate with US counterparts, their daytime is our sleeping time, and though they might have sent out the mail early their morning, we would've slept by then. 10 minutes to reach workplace is a miracle, and I've done it. Sigh, never mind, not that I like those meetings anyway, but if they can send out notification mails one day earlier, I would be thankful.
Down with sore throat and flu now...doesn't fell like coming to work today, but had to drag myself outta bed...sighhhhhhhhhhh...

Sad, waiting for my laptop to be fixed in the IT laptop room. The hard disk is giving me loads of problems, showing its dissatisfaction by *grr grr*ing in front of my counterpart during our conferencing. And I bet some of the data will be gone forever, since I couldn't backup some of the files. Not that I don't defragment it, but Win2000's Defragmenter sucks big time. It needs to have at least 15% of hard disk space to be able to defrag nicely, otherwise, this is what you'll end up with, a growling hard disk. I still have about 1.5G left, but it doesn't help much when it comes to defrag. And don't understand why there were processes that locked my hard disk, and caused me to cancel the check/scan disk effort. So the consequence now is a 3-hour wait with no emails to check and no codes to debug. The only decent thing left to do would be to surf. That's why now I can afford to write such long blogs...

Today spent a few hundred bucks for facial treatment and product, apparently this Livisa product did a big change to my colleague. Gonna try it and see what happens, if the outcome's not good, I will have to give the address to Prose (for him to burn down the building)...:P
Got a card from my "bestest' friend, CS. So thotful of her to send me one, and it's not my birthday or anything, just a 'thanks for being there for me' card. Well, she has problems nowadays, both work and relationship, so as a friend, I'm there to listen and give advice. That's what friends are for...hmm, come to think of it, I myself have problems, but I don't tell her that much. Maybe it's just my nature to keep most of the stuff to myself. Yeah, I have problems, all work-related, and it's sad to know that I've stepped into the "real" working environment. For the past two years, my working life is just like study life, where I get good friends who will teach me stuff and won't backstab me (maybe it's different for some of you out there). Things have certainly changed a lot these days. I don't seem to enjoy working as much, and I hate seeing my peer following exactly what I do. And I've been taking some time studying and learning up kernel programming, coz I didn't manage to solve the issue and one week's up. Dunno how to explain to boss that I dunno how to do it. Sigh...and the beautician told me that my pimples (on the forehead area) are caused by stress....how true...
