Guess what, today's the 15th day after CNY, and it was raining heavily for the whole of afternoon. Wonder if the Esplanade events are still on...and yesterday was Valentine's Day. The V day started with me having to help out my friend at her cousin's florist shop. A very busy day for them, I should say. I heard that the cousin had not been sleeping for the past 3 days. Pity them, but of course every sacrifice has its reward. I bet he'll be thousands of ringgit richer after yesterday. Anyway, there was nothing much I could help out (since I don't speak Hokkien) other than wrapping gifts and sorting orders. I personally think that there needs to be an organized system. Nearly fainted when I saw those messy order papers. The least they could do is to buy a filing cabinet and keep those papers neatly filed, although the best way is still to get a PC with a web-based searching system and a database.
After staying for more than 1 hour, I went to Prose's place. Headed for dinner at Soho, but we reached there too early, the dinner would start only at 7.00pm. So instead of waiting there, we walked around to see if there's any other restaurant. Turned out that there's this nice little Thai restaurant nearby, so we ended having Thai food. The food was spicy and tasty, very nice. After that big feast we went for ice-cream at Baskin Robbins (whoa, not another feast!). I couldn't even finish my two scoops ler...
Last stop, Midlands One Stop, to shop for CDRs. Bought this brand called UFO. Will try it out first thing on Monday...hrm, I hear some funny sounds below my apt now, some drum sounds, maybe the Chinese are doing some rain dance or something like that...
