Just came back from Shanghai last Sunday. The places I visited were mostly temples, mausoleums, gardens... kinda sick of those places nowadays, since I've been to China quite a few times. But the weather was nice, cold and dry, with trees stripped naked of leaves. Most of the bushes and plants were brown in color. Wanted to write a long long diary of what happened during the 9-day trip, but very lazy ler, so will just give a short summary.

Day 1
Reached Shanghai Pudong airport, the state-of-the-art building that took millions of dollars to build. Have to say that it is more impressive than the one in Hongqiao. Anyway, I think they brought us to Yu Yuan (Garden???). I bought a coat for RMB60. It has got furry hood! :)))) Really worth the money...After lunch we were brought straight to a 3-star hotel (claimed as 4-star by our tourist guide). Oh, talking about the guide, he's called Xiao Song, and my mom said tha he's the most leng chai among the guys in our group, but I didn't really agree with her. And apparently he's a uni grad...At nite they brought us to somewhere...but I forgot where...:).
Day 2
Second day, had to wake up at 6.00am to travel to Nanjing, XS's hometown. To be continued...
